EMBROIDERY SYSTEMS CANADA INTRODUCES THE TCK-EMC10/4
The TCK-EMC 10/4 is a Tubular Conversion Kit developed specifically for the
Melco EMC 10/4 embroidery machine. Current owners of these machines are all too
familiar with the problems associated with embroidering "tubular" goods (t-shirts,
sweat shirts).
The EMC 10 series of machines are far from being out-dated, and although there
are more "state of the art" machines available, not everyone wants-or can afford-
the newer machines available. It is with this in mind that this system has been
developed.
There also is the risk of the garment being caught in the needles during sewing
which usually requires your constant attention during the sewing. When embroidering a tubular item on an EMC 10T you are required
to gather-up the garment on top of the flat table top which is awkward and
inconvenient to say the least.
The main objective in the development process has been to make the installation
and use of the TCK-EMC 10/4 as simple as possible.
The kit consists of two main components:
1. Tubular interface system
2. Drop support tabling system.
The components (with the exception of the tubular arm brackets, which are the melco
standard arms) are made
from lightweight aluminium, making them convenient for shipping, and also allowing
for the least amount of strain on the machine, while maintaining solid construction.
The tubular interfaces utilize the existing hoop carriages with the simple
addition of four lock down screws, one for each carriage. There are two tubular
interfaces, each one accommodates two heads. The tubular arm brackets are then
attached to the interfaces.
The drop support tabling brackets are in three modules, one for the left of
the chassis, one for the right of the chassis and one for the center of the
chassis. They are attached simply by sliding them onto the aforementioned three
positions on the machine chassis. The existing tabling for the machine is then
inserted into the channels on the drop tabling modules.
The machine can now be programmed in "custom hoop set-up" to recognize the
limits of the specific hoops that you have purchased with your kit.
YOUR EMC 10/4 MACHINE IS NOW READY TO SEW TUBULAR GARMENTS AND ITEMS THAT
ARE MORE PROBLEMATIC WITH A FLAT TABLE SYSTEM.
